Due to unforeseen circumstances during the 2020 pandemic, my time at Canopy was cut short during a mass-layoff.
As part of the SEO team, the work was cut out for us as Organic Search continued to make up for over 90% of total traffic to all branded websites and remains a primary source to conversion. Assisting in the roll-out of Cannabis 2.0 products and helping Canadians better understand safe cannabis consumption and product innovation is something that I will always be proud of.

With a background in DJing, I helped create new.wav as an opportunity to host and perform at my own urban music events. New.wav is now a 7-man operation that prides itself on having built a community of young creatives in Toronto. I lead all marketing objectives and play a prominent role in the face-to-face interaction with all venue owners and collaborative parties.

Marketing Manager at Scarborough Town Centre
Life has come full-circle. I now work for OXFORD Properties at Scarborough Town Centre where I assist in managing all in-mall events and oversee all digital marketing assets. What once was the daycare where my mom would leave me on her shopping excursions is now a boardroom where we strategize marketing initiatives. The mall I frequented as a “baggy-pantsed tween” is now where I work within a team that thrives on innovation and fresh ideas.
You can take the boy out of Scarborough, but you can’t take Scarborough from the boy!

I also help maintain local business listings for a client that helps in being found via Google Maps in the local 3-pack.
